We are about to open a new section in our blog aimed to interview the protagonists of the Nomadic Culture which still remains alive in our country. We hope you like this new section aimed to raise awareness about the reality, issues, claims and daily life of these unknown heroes of our countryside who, day a day, fight for the conservation of their peculiar lifestyle! So if you like the initiative, let us know or share it! The hashtags that we will use for this new issue are #TalkingWithNomadicCulture #SaveTheTrashumance #TrashumanceExists #CampaignSupportTranshumance

Call to action!

This section is a call for the spanish government and the European Union take the decision to look towards the issue, articulating URGENTLY a strategy to dignify the working conditions of the Collective Trashumante and to support EMOTIONALLY AND ECONOMICALLY the commendable work of these people who travel, year after year, with their herds through our lands; playing a role in the land conservation, in the promotion of the biodiversity, in the empowerment of the shepherds and in the conservation of the practices of extensive breeding, which many governmental sustainability programs would desire.

«Talking with…»

This month we will start with Guadalupe and Maria, two beautiful women who we have met during the Cultural Wool Week of Guadalaviar (both participants in our workshops) whose storytelling, not only leaves us no indifferent, but also is a true reflection of reality of the people who struggle against all odds to maintain a nomadic life style in the XXI century. Thanks you for your love and time!
