Despu\u00e9s de varios meses rond\u00e1ndonos la idea de subir a Barcelona ya podemos decir QUE S\u00cd QUE S\u00cd!. Talleres en Dudu\u00e1 de hilado con huso y te\u00f1ido con \u00edndigo<\/strong><\/a>. Adem\u00e1s tenemos muchas ganas de ir porque nuestra \u00faltima visita fue muy reveladora gracias a la efervescencia cultural de esta bonita ciudad y porque en nuestra \u00faltima visita nos quedaron muchos proyectos interesantes por visitar. Aparte coincide que justo para esas fechas es el Fashion Revolution Day<\/a><\/strong> y ser\u00e1 un placer asomarnos para ver que se cuece. Muchas gracias Alicia por invitarnos a dar estos dos talleres a un sitio tan especial como Dudu\u00e1<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

After several months with the idea to go to Barcelona to give workshops , we can say NOW YES! . Workshops in Dudu\u00e1 of spinning with drop spindle and dyeing with indigo<\/strong><\/a> . We were also looking forward to travel to Barcelona because our last visit was very revealing, thanks to the cultural activity that there are always those lands, and also because there are many interesting projects to visit. Besides, precisely on those days is the Fashion Revolution Day<\/a> and is a good oportunity to see what is going on. Thank you very much Alicia for inviting us to give these two workshops to such a special place as is Dudu\u00e1<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Taller de hilado con huso<\/h3>\n

Taller de iniciaci\u00f3n al hilado con el que aprender\u00e1s a hacer tus propios hilados para tus tejidos 100 por 100 DIY<\/strong>. Aunque el objetivo del taller es aprender a hacer hilados de un cabo, tambi\u00e9n veremos c\u00f3mo se carda la lana y las posibilidades que hay para mezclar colores y fibras para hacer hilados creativos. Preparaci\u00f3n de las fibras, trucos para hilar, hilos gu\u00eda, t\u00e9cnicas de hilado, manejo de puntos cr\u00edticos, posturas sanas y mucho m\u00e1s!<\/p>\n

Spinning the old fashioned way!<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Introductory workshop to spindle with which you’ll learn to make your own woolen yarn for your 100% DIY textiles<\/strong>. Although the aim of the workshop is to learn how to make single yarns, we will also see how the wool is carded and the possible ways to blend colors and fibers to make creative yarns. Fiber preparation, tricks to spin, guide wires, spinning techniques, handling of critical points, healthy postures and more!<\/span><\/p>\n

Taller de te\u00f1ido con \u00edndigo<\/h3>\n

Taller monogr\u00e1fico de \u00cdndigo Natural dedicado a los tintes de tina, que son un mundo aparte ya que se emplea un m\u00e9todo diferente al de la inmensa mayor\u00eda de los tintes naturales. Realizaremos pruebas de te\u00f1ido sobre lana, seda y algod\u00f3n<\/strong>, aprenderemos a preparar ba\u00f1os tint\u00f3reos, as\u00ed como a manejarlos y controlarlos y a fijar el color. Veremos c\u00f3mo es posible obtener no solo una gran variedad de tonos azules sino tambi\u00e9n de verdes y otros colores mediante sobre-te\u00f1idos. El taller incluye la realizaci\u00f3n de un proyecto de te\u00f1ido sobre un tote-bag<\/strong>. Se recomienda acudir con mandil!<\/p>\n

Indigo dyeing workshop<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Monographic workshop dedicated to Natural Indigo, a world apart insofar that the dyeing method is different from the vast majority of natural dyes. We will make dyeing tests on wool, silk and cotton<\/strong>. You will learn how to prepare dye baths and how to manage them, as well as the way of fixing the color. You will see how it is possible to obtain not only a wide range of blue tones but also green and other colors using the overdying method. The workshop includes a dyeing project on a tote-bag<\/strong>. We recommend to come with an apron!
