Aunque no somos muy dados a hablar desde las entra\u00f1as de este proyecto, hoy vamos a hacerlo porque estamos experimentando un cambio de rumbo \u2013para nosotros trascendental\u2013 o mejor dicho una vuelta, con m\u00e1s fuerza si cabe, a nuestros or\u00edgenes, en parte motivado por el cambio tan importante que ha supuesto en nuestras vidas el habernos venido a vivir a Cantabria, a la ya bautizada <b>The Dyer\u00b4s House<\/b>. Cuando comenzamos con Mundo Lanar,  <b>siempre tuvimos claro que lo m\u00e1s importante era disfrutar con lo que hac\u00edamos y mantenernos fieles a nuestra filosof\u00eda<\/b>. Sobrar\u00eda decir que para nosotros este proyecto es mucho m\u00e1s que una mera fuente de renta (lo cual sin duda es importante porque nos dedicamos a ello en exclusiva y es nuestro modo de vida) pero el dinero no es para nosotros un objetivo en s\u00ed mismo. La prueba de ello es que, para llegar hasta aqu\u00ed, dejamos nuestras c\u00f3modas vidas de salarios fijos y la quimera del \u00e9xito profesional, para hacer realidad este sue\u00f1o, aun a pesar de todas las dificultades del camino. Pero la ilusi\u00f3n mueve monta\u00f1as y estamos felices de estar aqu\u00ed, aunque nos duelan hasta los huesos despu\u00e9s de nuestras maratonianas \u201cjornadas de trabajo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0b9795;\">Although we are not much given to talk about intimate things of our project, now we are going to do it because we are experiencing a great reversal (or a return to our origins, depending how you look), partly motivated by the important change in our lives, brought about by the decision of come live to the mountains of Cantabria, to the newly baptized <b>The Dyer&#8217;s House<\/b>. When we started Mundo Lanar, <b>we were always convinced that the most important thing was to enjoy what we were doing, and stay true to our philosophy<\/b>. As many of you already know, for us this project is much more than a mere source of income, which of course is important because this is our profession and we live from  this, but money, dear friends, is not for us an end in itself. The proof is that we leave behind our comfortable lives, fixed salaries and career success, to make this dream a reality, even in spite of all the difficulties that we find along the way. But the illusion moves mountains and we are happy to be here, no matter if bones hurt after a long day of work. Pero sin saber muy bien c\u00f3mo \u2013ahora creemos ser conscientes de c\u00f3mo tuvo lugar esta deriva profesional\u2013 <b> echando la vista atr\u00e1s nos damos cuenta que no hemos mimado algunas de estas ideas como nos hubiera gustado hacerlo<\/b>, ya que hemos entrado en el juego de la comercializaci\u00f3n de productos tales como ruecas, telares, hilos, libros y otros art\u00edculos manufacturados que nos iban pidiendo nuestros alumnos y clientes, a quienes fuimos tratando de complacer, pensando que era una forma de apoyar a profesionales y aficionados que a menudo encuentran dificultades para adquirir materias primas naturales producidas de forma responsable. Pero nosotros <b>nunca hemos aspirado a ser una tienda que comercialice productos sin m\u00e1s<\/b> (con todos nuestros respetos a distribuidores y revendedores), <b>ya que nuestro ideal de proyecto se basa en crear productos que hayan pasado por nuestras manos, quedando impregnados de nuestra impronta, mimo y saber-hacer<\/b>. Por ello, conscientes de este alejamiento respecto a nuestras creencias m\u00e1s profundas, hemos decidido iniciar un nuevo camino, cuyos pilares iremos sentando a lo largo de este nuevo a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0b9795;\">From the beginning our idea was to orientate this project towards the creation of kits; the ethnographic reproduction of woolen utensils; the informative work; the systematization of our experience as support tool for similar initiatives; as well as workshops and courses to encourage natural fibers and dyes from a Do It Yourself point of view, of course, always trying to rethink the raw materials used for DIY projects. But without knowing exactly how it happened (now we are aware of the process that led us get somehow distance from such a strong original ideas), we end up selling products such as spinning wheels, looms, threads, books and other manufactured goods, which were repeatedly asked by our students and clients, to whom we were trying to please, thinking it was a form of supporting to professionals and amateurs, as we knew they often find difficulties to acquire natural raw materials produced responsibly, and we felt we could do something to that respect. But <b> we have never aspired to became a common store dedicated to sell whatever products, no matter how much ecological they are<\/b> (with all our respect towards distributors and resellers). In contrast, <b>our ideal project has always been based on the creation of products that have passed through our hands, being this way impregnated by our imprin, mime and know-how<\/b>. Pero ahora es tiempo de pensar en positivo, de recobrar fuerzas y poner las energ\u00edas en todas las cosas buenas que est\u00e1n por venir.  Es lo que ocurre cuando te abres incondicionalmente a personas que quieren emprender un proyecto lanar, o generar una colaboraci\u00f3n contigo, y lo das todo de forma altruista para allanarles el camino (tiempo, dedicaci\u00f3n, energ\u00eda, ideas, contactos, consejos, experiencias, conocimiento\u2026), tratando que no tengan que pasar por todas las dificultades que durante a\u00f1os hemos tenido que ir superando. Es lamentable que, por culpa de estas desafortunadas personas, te tengas que replantear tu grado de apertura, y empezar a examinar con lupa a la gente por sistema, ALGO A LO QUE ROTUNDAMENTE NOS NEGAMOS ya que <b>no hay nada m\u00e1s bonito que fluir por encima de las malas experiencias, ya que es tanta la gente que nos aporta, sorprende, acompa\u00f1a y apoya, que asumimos estos puntos negros como meros baches en el viaje<\/b>. Naturalmente, con la experiencia, aprendes a detectar este tipo de personalidades embaucadoras, y a centrar tus energ\u00edas en la gente que realmente lo merece.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0b9795;\">Another reason that led us to rethink our model of project, have been the deceptions caused by those <b>WOLFS IN SHEEP\u00b4S CLOTHING<\/b> (people with apparent good intentions) who have approached our project, finally showning their malice and self interest, cauging us not only a commercial damage (without going into further details), which is something repairable after all, but a mental and emotional agression. Fortunately, we always find the motivation to keep on going, and put the energies into more worthy things. This things happens sometimes when you open yourself unconditionally to people who want to start a wool project and to you give everything from you (time, energy, contacts, advices, knowledge&#8230;), so as to pave the way, avoiding them to experience all the troubles you&#8217;ve been through to progress in this field. It is unfortunate that, because of these people, you need to rethink your degree of openness to the world, <b>something that we refuse to do, despite the bad experiences. In contrast, we prefer to keep open doors to share this experience with all those positive people that day a day accompanies and supports us, considering those unfortunate \u00abblack spots\u00bb as as mere bumps in the journey<\/b>. Un lugar impregnado de cultura tint\u00f3rea al que, concertando previa cita, <b>EST\u00c1IS TODOS INVITADOS<\/b>. Como ver\u00e9is, hemos inclu\u00eddo algunas fotos de nuestro nuevo entorno para que lo conozc\u00e1is! Esperamos que os guste!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0b9795;\">We take this opportunity to share that inactivity of these months in our blogs (and social networks) is due both to the endless move, but to the launch of Tinct\u00f3rea (our slow textiles brand) and the presentation of <\/b>The Dyer&#8217;s House<\/b>, which is <b>the headquarter of our projects (Ecolorgy, Tinct\u00f3rea and Mundo Lanar), the place were we will be giving regular workshops, seminars and courses and where we have created a permanent showroom to give you the oportunity to meet, in the short distance, all our products<\/b>.
