Despu\u00e9s de un mes de impas retomamos la actividad bloguera con muchas ganas y un mont\u00f3n de novedades que ya os iremos contando. Pero ahora queremos compartir nuestra experiencia en la popular Fiesta de la Trashumancia de Oncala (Soria) que tuvo lugar a finales de junio y quitarnos el sombrero ante esta iniciativa que A\u00d1O TRAS A\u00d1O trabaja por la recuperaci\u00f3n de la Cultura Trashumante dando voz a nuestra Historia Pastoril<\/strong>. Y ello se lo debemos a la labor incondicional de personas como Fidel y a entidades como la Asociaci\u00f3n El Redil de Oncala, la Mancomunidad Tierras Altas de Soria y los Ayuntamientos de Oncala y de Las Aldehuelas, sin olvidar a los vecinos y vecinas que ponen su granito de arena para esta Fiesta.<\/p>\n

After a month out of this blog \u2013something like our virtual home\u2013 we return to the activity with great enthusiasm and lots of news that we will gradually be sharing. But now we want to talk about our experience in the popular Festival of Transhumance in Ocala (Soria) that took place in late June. An event that we really admire because is the result of an initiative that EVERY YEAR works for recovering the Culture of Transhumance, giving voice to the History of Wool<\/strong>. And this is thanks to the work of the Asociaci\u00f3n El Redil de Oncala, the Mancomunidad Tierras Altas de Soria, the municipalities of Oncala and Aldehuela, and all those people who collaborate to make this initiative a marvellous reality.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Stand de Mundo Lanar<\/h3>\n

Siendo sinceros, dado que nos toc\u00f3 estar al pi\u00e9 del ca\u00f1on de nuestro stand, no pudimos presenciar la llegada del reba\u00f1o ni disfrutar de muchos de los aderezos de la fiesta, lo que no quita que nos lo pas\u00e1ramos genial compartiendo an\u00e9cdotas y experiencias laneras con todos los que se acercaron a a nuestro stand y ense\u00f1ando a hilar a m\u00e1s de media docena de personas, desde ni\u00f1os de 6 y 7 a\u00f1os hasta abuelas de 90! Quitando la tradicional llegada del reba\u00f1o, la caldereta, la esquila, el lavado de lana y el museo de puertas abiertas, la fiesta este a\u00f1o ha sido algo diferente respecto a otros a\u00f1os, destacando las ovejoolimpiadas, el stand de tintes naturales de Aurelie de El Bosque de Lanas, el showroom lanero de Dlana y el taller del proceso de la lana y la demostraci\u00f3n de tintes naturales por la parte que nos toca. Un reflejo de que poco a poco las Ferias Trashumantes se est\u00e1n actualizando para hacer compatible la tradici\u00f3n y modernidad<\/strong>. Enhorabuena y mil gracias Fidel por contar con Mundo Lanar!<\/p>\n

Being honest, since we had to be all the time near by our stand and giving our workshop about the Process of the Wool, we didn\u00b4t witness the arrival of the herd neither enjoyed of many of the ingredients of the event, those which we normally enjoy when we assist as spectators. Nevertheless we enjoyed a lot by sharing knowledge, stories and experiences with anyone who approached our site, as well as teaching how to spin in the traditional way in true Waldorf Style, to more than half a dozen people, from children to 90 years old grandmothers! Except the traditional arrival of the herd, the popular stew, the sheep shearing, the wool washing demostration and the open museum, this year the event was somewhat different from previous ones, highlighting the Olympics of Sheep, the beautifull stand prepared by Aurelie (The Forest of The Wool) dedicated to natural dyes, the wool showroom by Dlana and our workshop about the process of the wool and our natural dyeing demostration. A signal that gradually shows how this kind of events is working to upgrade and offer new proposals in order to make that the tradition can be compatible with modernity<\/strong>. Thanks Fidel for inviting us. It has been a real pleasure to participate!<\/span><\/p>\n

Ruta trashumante<\/h3>\n

Muy a nuestro pesar no os podemos hablar de primera mano acerca de la ruta trashumante entre Soria y Oncala que tuvo lugar desde el jueves al s\u00e1bado. Muchas gracias Fidel por la invitaci\u00f3n y todas las facilidades que nos distes para unirnos a la caminata, pero los preparativos de nuestra Gira Lanar Andaluza de manos de Devanalana y Nuneart se llevaron toda nuestra atenci\u00f3n esos d\u00edas. Esperamos que el a\u00f1o que viene se repita y podamos unirnos a este particular Revival Trashumante recorriendo parajes tan hermosos como el Valle del Tera, los acebales de Oncala, Garag\u00fceta, Europa y Sierra del Alba. Menudas tierras!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Much to our regret, as the intention was to participate in this wonderful experience, we can not speak firsthand about the migratory route between Soria and Oncala which took place from Thursday to Saturday. Thanks Fidel for your kind invitation and all the facilities you gave us to join to the walk, but the preparations for our \u00abAndalusian Wool Tour\u00bb, in order to participate with our Natural Dyes Street Workshop in the text+ile event organised by Nuneart and Devanalana, took all our attention these days. So hopefully you repeat this wonderfull walk the next year, so that we can join this particular Migratory Revival, rediscovering places as beautiful as the Tera Valley, Oncala, Garag\u00fceta, Europe and Alba Mountains.
