Hoy quer\u00edamos compartir nuestra experiencia de dar clases de tintes naturales en el Instituto Europeo de Dise\u00f1o. Lo importante aqu\u00ed es el hecho de que las escuelas de moda cada vez est\u00e1n m\u00e1s sensibilizadas con la importancia de incluir pr\u00e1cticas textiles de corte \u00e9tico y ecol\u00f3gico en sus programas formativos. Y esto nos hace muy felices, no tanto por el papel que podamos llegar a tener en el desarrollo e impartici\u00f3n de este tipo de contenidos, sino por el hecho de comprobar que <strong>las fibras y tintes naturales cada vez despiertan m\u00e1s inter\u00e9s y est\u00e1n dejando de ser una extravagancia textil abocada a su desaparici\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0b9795;\">Here we are to share some of the things that keep us so busy lately and a bit removed from the social networks. Today we are happy to share our experience teaching a class of natural dyes in the European Institute of Design located here in Madrid. What is important here is the fact that fashion schools are increasingly sensitizing with the importance of including sustainable textile practices in their training programs. Siempre ponemos este ejemplo porque nos parece muy ilustrativo. <strong>Es como cultivar tomates ecol\u00f3gicos para luego acompa\u00f1arlos con lechugas de invernadero producidas con agroqu\u00edmicos, bajo la pretensi\u00f3n de estar aliment\u00e1ndonos de forma sana<\/strong>. Y aunque es cierto que a d\u00eda de hoy la industria textil no est\u00e1 preparada prestar servicios de tintorer\u00eda empleando tintes naturales, a medio y largo plazo, un incremento en la demanda de este tipo de trabajos puede incentivar el desarrollo de sistemas de Tintorer\u00eda Natural, aplicables al menos a los m\u00e9todos de producci\u00f3n de los peque\u00f1os y medianos dise\u00f1adores. Pero quiz\u00e1s el primer paso es empezar a aplicar los Tintes Taturales, aunque sea a peque\u00f1a escala, e ir de esta forma despertando el inter\u00e9s y poco a poco <strong>GENERANDO TENDENCIA<\/strong>. \u00bfQu\u00e9 opin\u00e1is?<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #808000;\"><span style=\"color: #0b9795;\">Natural dyes for Ecofashion<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0b9795;\">It has been a pleasure to participate in the training program of a fashion institute and put our bit so that the new generations of designers and designers can take into consideration the idea to colour their collections using natural dyes, thus contributing to the textiles sustainability which, until this moment, achieved mainly by means of the implementation of natural fibers ignoring the ecological implications of using chemical dyes (contaminants for the environmental and harmful to the health of people). In other words, not taking into account the potential of the ecological dyes. That way (and we always put this example because is very illustrative) <strong>is like if we make a salad with ecologically grown tomatos, together with lettuce which has been produced in greenhouse using big amounts of agrochemicals, under the pretense of achieving a eating healthy<\/strong>. And while it is true that textile industry is not prepared yet to offer dyeing services using natural dyes in a big scale (giving designers real solutions to their practical problems), there is no doubt that,in the medium term, an increase in demand of this kind of services can encourage the development of new ecological processes for dyeing, applicable at least to the production requirements of small and medium designers. But perhaps the first step is to start applying Natural Dyes at small scale, arousing little by little the interest on the responsive consumers and gradually generate new Eco Fashion trends.
